KMX Technologies, Inc. (“KMX”) announces that Roy E. McNiven, Senior Vice President of Energy Services Operations at TETRA Technologies, Inc. (“TETRA”), has joined the Board of Directors of KMX Technologies.
Mr. McNiven has extensive experience in operations management and technology commercialization in the energy sector. He joins the KMX Board of Directors as KMX scales its technology for the growing produced water desalination market opportunity.
TETRA Technologies is a KMX shareholder and the exclusive license holder for KMX’s proprietary Vacuum Membrane Distillation (VMD) technology for oil and gas produced water beneficial reuse. KMX is proud to support the TETRA Oasis Total Desalination Solution (TDS), TETRA’s end-to-end produced water desalination technology with its VMD technology.

Mr. McNiven brings more than two decades of operations and commercial leadership across the energy services sector. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations at CSI Compressco, a former TETRA subsidiary, and previously held senior operations roles at Nabors Industries. Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years at Tesco Corporation in a series of senior leadership roles spanning product supply and commercialization, aftermarket sales and service, and global supply chain, before Tesco was acquired by Nabors.
