Annual Outlook
Last year marked a turning point for KMX. We achieved major milestones across technology, manufacturing, and commercial operations, laying a strong foundation for accelerated growth in 2026.
Key 2025 Highlights
- Successfully completed and delivered domestically manufactured Vacuum Membrane Distillation (VMD) systems for a U.S.-based customer.
- Signed an MOU with Sumitomo Electric to conduct a feasibility study for the first U.S.-based VMD mass-production plant.
- Expanded commercial reach, including entry into the data center market.
We also strengthened our team with critical hires across operations, commercial, and corporate functions.
2026 Outlook: Domestic Manufacturing in Focus
This year, KMX is driving several strategic initiatives, including:
- AI integration
- Commercial diversification
- Technology enhancements
However, our core priority for 2026 is accelerating domestic manufacturing.
Accelerating Domestic Manufacturing
The convergence of growing U.S. market opportunities and advancements in industrial technology positions KMX to scale domestic production rapidly.
- Feasibility Study Underway: We’ve initiated a study for the first U.S.-based VMD mass-production plant, and site selection is in progress.
- Strategic Impact: This facility will deliver cutting-edge solutions for water and mineral recovery, strengthen supply chains, and support industries critical to national security.
- Building on Recent Milestone: In Q4 2025, we successfully completed Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for domestically manufactured VMD systems for a U.S. customer.
This initiative underscores KMX’s commitment to reshoring U.S. industrial manufacturing and enhancing resource recovery and infrastructure resilience. It reflects our broader strategy to deliver innovation, reliability, and domestic capability for industries of strategic importance.
What’s Next
We look forward to sharing updates on our diversification efforts, including opportunities to address challenges in data centers, power & utilities, and other critical sectors.
