KMX is scaling and the team is laying the groundwork for our North American expansion. Soaring demand for critical minerals and increased interest in advanced desalination technologies is fueling demand for KMX’s proprietary Vacuum Membrane Distillation (VMD) technology.
In support of KMX’s North American expansion, the team has three key initiatives, including:

New Hires:
Over the last phase of growth, KMX has enhanced our team with key additions across our R&D, operations, commercial, and corporate support teams.
We are now excited to further scale the company with a focus on project management and commercial growth, with new U.S.-based hires anticipated in the coming months.
Expanded Lab in Mississauga:
Following an extensive search, we are thrilled to announce KMX is moving into a new laboratory in Mississauga, with an expanded footprint, operational capacity, and room for further company growth.
Mississauga is a regional research and technology powerhouse, and we are proud to invest in Ontario as part of KMX’s North American expansion.
KMX’s new lab will have expanded operational capabilities spanning R&D and commercial pilot capacity. We are looking forward to welcoming customers, partners, and community stakeholders to the official opening of our new lab in the coming months.
Investment in Pilot Capacity and AI Infrastructure
As part of our recent investment round, the team is excited to expand our pilot capacity and invest in our proprietary AI platform.
Our expanded pilot asset capacity will allow the team to work with new customers looking to leverage KMX’s technology across new industries.
Our new proprietary AI platform, leveraging the KMX VMD Calculator, provides customers with access to rapid evaluation for treating complex waste streams and potentially monetizing minerals in the process.
